Hank Taylor currently makes two models of quality hand crafted violins. One is based on an instrument developed by noted Tallahassee violin maker, the late T. G. Gandy. Upon Mr. Gandy’s retirement, Mr. Taylor acquired several of his partially finished tops of high quality Engelmann spruce. In respect for Mr. Gandy’s accomplishments, and as a tribute to him, Mr. Taylor is using these tops in this model of violin. There are a limited number of these violins available.

The other violin is one of Mr. Taylor’s design. It is based on the best features of traditional Italian models. Mr. Taylor’s violins are made using quality European and American tone woods. They are finished using a traditional oil varnish.
